The International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme: a Study of Global Change (IGBP) is looking for a Science Editor and a Science Communicator.

The IGBP is housed at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. The requirements for the job are firstly a background in science, and to write write intelligently and clearly, largely for an informed lay public. Part of both jobs will be ensuring contacts with the research groups working with the IGBP. The Science Communicator must organize and implement getting our profile and work out to the media, the decision makers and the funders, and the Science Editor must ensure our publications.

Interviews will begin on 30 January (if there are enough replies by then), but they will continue as long as the right persons are not found.
